Phases of the Moon A Doctor Who Fix-It Cast: Rose Tyler - Clary The Tenth Doctor - Daniel Jackie Tyler - Damsel Of Distress Mickey Smith - Poptart Jack Harkness - Damsel Of Distress (And since no one want to play Pete, lets just pretend he's off on some business thing.) Situation: Alright, this takes place about a year after the end of Doomsday. That means that Jackie has had her baby (A little girl named Melissa). Forget that The Bride exists, since the third season hasn't aired in the US yet and she messes up continuity. The Doctor didn't get to tell Rose that he loved her, and its haunted him for the last year, so he's been searching for a way to tell her.

Rose Tyler woke up to screaming. It wasn't an unusual screaming, just enough to stop her from being able to sleep. She moaned and wished that her little sister would learn to sleep through the night. Or at least be put in a different room. When Missy didn't show any signs of stopping, Rose flung her feet over the side of her bed and crossed the room to the cradel. She carefully extracted the little bundle that was her sister and began to rock her, humming a song she'd heard once, a long time ago.

The Doctor fiddled with the controls on the TARDIS once more, and re-checked his readings for the sixth time. They told him the same thing they'd said before. He could get to her. He could get to his Rose. But he'd need help. More help than he had with just himself and the TARDIS. He'd have to find a Companion. Fortunately, he knew just the place.

Finally, Missy fell into a bit of slumber. Rose sighed and set her back in the cradle gently. Then she glanced over at the clock. 6:30 Too early to get up, but two late to go back to sleep. She frowned, then broke into a grin as she left the room so as not to wake her sister, and picked up her phone, fully intending to make her best friend Mickey join her in her misery.

Mickey picked up his phone on the first ring. "Hello, Rose." He said patiently.

Rose blinked. He was already up? She shook her head in confusion. "What are you doing up?"

"Waiting for you to call me, like you have every morning for the last eleven months."

Rose blushed faintly. She HAD been calling him a lot, it was true. Every morning that Missy had woken her up she had called him. He must have finally realized that it was safer to already be up than to be woken by his phone. "What are you doing?"

"Watching the telly, o' course. What else does a bloke have to do at six thirty?"

The Doctor set the controls to stop anyone but himself from entering the TARDIS and stepped into the near apocalyptic Space Station. His eyes instantly began scanning for Dalek's, and, most especially, for Jack.

Jack gasped as the cold that had spread to his body was suddenly vaporized. He could have sworn he was dead, but obviously he wasn't. The Daleks must have moved past him, at least, he assumed he did, as they were no longer in sight. Then he heard the telltale sound that could only be the TARDIS. Without taking the time to think whether it was a good idea or not, he began to make his way, slowly, toward the sound.

The Doctor dashed around yet another corner, with still no sign of Jack.

Jack turned another corner and found himself face to face with a man he'd never met before.
