"The newest one. I haven't gotten to read it yet."

"Yet?" Missy said. "A bit optimistic now, aren't you?"

"Don't patronize me," Nathalie said, "If you won't buy me a copy there are plenty of people who will."

Missy laughed. "You've got spunk, kiddo. I like that." She held out her hand. "Pop by in another ten minutes and I'll give you your copy."

Nathalie smiled in relief and handed her money over. "Don't double cross me." She said before disappearing. "I'm small, not stupid."

Areki held the pile of school newspapers to her chest to conceal the smaller pile of "Crushed" magazines hidden in her jacket. Her eyes scanned the Courtyard, picking out her regular customers and filing their locations instantly as she headed from table to table, leaving piles of the school paper, and occasionally a copy of "Crushed," dropping the money from that exchange in the pocket above the magazines themselves. It took her awhile but she eventually got to Missy's table. She cleared her throat.

Missy glanced up and smiled at the silver haired girl. "Areki." She acknowledged. She glanced down toward the hand she was holding the money in, and made a hand signal for two.

Areki concealed her initial surprise and grinned. "Have you been bribed, Melissa-kun?" She asked the other girl.

Missy blushed. "Maybe. And its Missy." She corrected gently.

Areki pocketed the money and handed Missy two copies of "Crushed." "But I like the name Melissa."

"I don't." Missy said. She carefully slid her copy of "Crushed" into her bag and set the other surreptitiously above her tray.

"Well, I'll go so your. . .client can retrieve her magazine." Areki said with a slight smile. "See you later, Melissa-kun." She waved as she moved on to the next table.

Nathalie melded her way out of the crowd and picked up her magazine. "Thank you, sempai." She said repectfully.
